Kaelen is 18 months Old

18 Months and Growing

I am excited to announce that today Kaelen is 18 months old. I am also happy to announce this is my 100th post as well. Very appropriate for this to happen as Kaelen is 18 months. I can't believe how big Kaelen is and how much he changes everyday. We all love everyday with him. Every time he does something new we get so excited.

Kaelen is 24.6 lbs

He is wearing size 6 shoes

A few fun things that he does:

• Kaelen loves to give kisses. He leans his head towards yours to kiss it.
• Just more recently when we say that it is time for bed he runs and grabs the scriptures and then sits down. If you say it's time for scriptures he folds his arms for prayer. He knows that after scriptures we have prayer. It is the cutest thing.
• Kaelen loves to help. If you ask him to put something a way that he got out he will go and put it back exactly where he got it. If you hand him something to throw out he will run and throw it into the garbage.
• When ever I tell Kaelen that we are going somewhere he runs and grabs his shoes (they match every time as well) and then sits down for you to put them on.
• He loves to brush his teeth. He is always getting his toothbrush and toothpaste out of the bathroom and wanting to brush them
• When ever you tell him Dad, Jacob or Rachel are home and screams and runs straight for the door saying their names.
• He loves to draw especially on the walls. He last week alone drew on the wall,s table or my bed 5 times.
• He loves to hide in our game closet. He will close the cupboard door and stand their very quietly until you find him. He will sometimes open the door and then yell boo at you.
• He loves to eat dog food and also throw it at the dog. The dog never really eats it though.
• Kaelen really understands everything that we tell him. He might not be able to talk to us very well but he sure understands. Kaelen loves to babble all the time and then sometimes will start laughing like what he said was the funniest thing. He also gets mad when he babbles to us and we don't understand what he wants.
• The minute you set the remote down or get off the computer he runs as fast as he can to them. He is always stealing the remote from us. When he does get it he runs the other direction as fast as he can.
  
• Kaelen loves to be outside. He could spend most of the day outside. He loves to jump on the trampoline and play ball outside.
  
• Kaelen loves to eat what ever we are eating. For the most part he doesn't want to eat his plate of food even if it is the same as yours. He mostly just wants what you have.
• Kaelen loves to dance. When ever their is music on he will dance around.
• He loves to to twirl around in circles till he gets so dizzy he falls over.
• He is your typical boy and loves to throw everything.
• He loves to climb on everything and stand on it, his favorite it the table and the piano. I hate it.
• He is so good at cuddling especially first thing in the morning. He will sit on my lap drinking his sippy cup and cuddle with my for quite a while.
• He loves to play with his brother and sister when they are home. He loves playing in the playroom with them.
• He loves to ride around on his big wheel. He can't pedal it but loves to push it with his feet around on the side walk or yard. He also loves to stand on it.

Kaelen does a pretty good job eating on his own. He still spills on himself but for the most part gets it into his mouth and not on his clothes.

Kaelen loves to wear everybody else's shoes. He was wearing Jacob's shoes in this picture. I love the big shoes with the sweater and diaper.
