Mother's Day

Here is Mother's Day a few weeks late. Mother's day was wonderful this year. Friday before I went to Jacob's school for a Mom and me activity. It was so much fun. All the mom's sat at tables with table cloths on them and hand flowers that the kids had made. I was given a necklace from Jacob that he had made. The kids sang songs to us, told us about what they liked about their moms and we also were read survey's about their moms. The questions were things like how tall is your mom? Your mom weighs how much? Your moms favorite food is? It was so funny to hear all of the kids questions. We then watched a DVD of the whole year that their teacher put together with music. It was amazing. ( I will try to post it) We then ate cookies and milk. It was the sweetest thing. I wanted to cry because of how cute it was. I was so sad though because I forgot my camera and knew that if I went back to get it I would have missed a lot of it. I am so sad about not getting video or pictures of my sweet Jacob telling me things that he liked about me and singing adorable songs to me. After being in Jacob's class I would have actually been happy with just that. But nope that wasn't everything. Enoch took me out for a nice lunch and then on Sunday I was surprised with breakfast in bed. The kids got up extra early to make me pancakes, eggs, toast, chocolate milk that was so dark because of all the chocolate that the kids added to it. Yum. I was also given flowers. Very nice surprise. I rarely get flowers and I LOVED it (hint hint Enoch) The kids then gave me their gifts. I got a sports bra (I loved it because it was on my list of things i needed to get before my race in June), a bathroom scale (yes that is not the most thoughtful gift but man I loved it, Yah I know that I am weird). The best gift was my new purse and inside the purse were little gifts that my kids picked out. They all went shopping with their dad and bought something that they wanted to get. I picked everything out themselves. I got candy, alphabet letters for making cards, a fry cutter, a make tool kit, a white board calender. My kids new me to well and new of the things that I would love.

I really loved mother's day this year. I am so grateful for a wonderful family. I love being a mom to three of the best children.

Enoch took a picture of the kids before they brought me in my breakfast.

Kaelen had to carry this balloon around. He loves balls so much that he will hold on to the balloon or ball and never let go of them.

Kaelen was really hungry even though he had already ate. I had to feed him bites of food in between opening presents.

Surprise.

I love this picture because Kaelen was smiling at the camera while I looked at the presents in my purse.
