Last week my Mom and Dad came to visit and they brought me my piano. For the last few months my Dad and his friend Ed have spent many hours redoing a baby grand piano for me. They redid all the strings and tuned it for me. It is so beautiful. I love it. I love being in my living room now. The exterior of my piano is in amazing condition. I am so happy with it. It is such a wonderful gift that my Dad has given me. I did pay for it all but what a nice thing to have my Dad put so much work into it and then drive it over to Idaho from Missouri. I am excited too because my kids have started piano lessons already. Enoch has also become our official piano player in our family for Family Home Evening.
Piano in the back of the U-haul. Mom and Dad brought another piano that they sold while they were here.
Pulling the grand piano out of the truck. It was wrapped really well and on a sled that they carried it out on. We had 8 men from our ward come and help move it. It was hard for them to even move it with all of them. Glad we had that many. What a great ward we live in.
Me watching the piano. I wish that I had a better picture of me seeing it. I was so shocked to see it for the first time. After it was set up I would walk into the room and start screaming and getting so excited over it.
Grandpa and Kaelen playing the piano together. Did you all know that Dad knows how to play the piano. He learned to read music as a kid and he can actually sit down and play hymns. I was shocked when I heard him playing and then really shocked when I knew that he could play for all the these years and non of us knew. Nice Dad.

Wow Angelene! That's so exciting! The piano is beautiful. It looks great in your living room. I'm envious. What an awesome Dad!!!
Im so jealous! Thats awesome you got a piano.
Looks good. You should give the piano a name... like, Henry, Porgy, Slublub...
How exiting! I am so happy for you! It is very beautiful. You deserve beautiful things like that in your life. Especially you Angelene. PLus, (I was just thinking)I also think that Enoch did a piano. He and I share the same gift of playing by ear. It was actually he that helped me figure out that I had that talent also. Maybe that is why we share a similar passion for music.
